Before REP, she spent 20 years designing programs with education and community-based nonprofits, working to help people navigate inequitable systems by shaping inclusive services that benefit all people and positively impact their life outcomes. Kavita is also Founder and Director of Made for Me Books and lives in Harlem, NY with her family.
