John Samuel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/johngsamuel/) is the Cofounder & CEO of Ablr, where he focuses on helping organizations be more inclusive by removing the barriers that have hindered people with disabilities from accessing education, retail, entertainment, and employment. John’s passion for his work is very personal as he is blind and wants to make sure the obstacles he has faced are removed for others. Over the past 16-years, John has held leadership roles domestically and internationally. While launching and serving as the CEO for Aster Cameroon, a global telecom infrastructure Joint Venture, he built a $45 million business bringing internet access across Africa. Afterward, he became an early member of Homestrings, a USAID backed crowdfunding platform, where he helped raise capital for startups in emerging markets. John holds his MBA from George Washington University, BS in Accounting from North Carolina State University. John is also an International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, and holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace from the University of South Florida.

She holds degrees and certifications from Virginia State University, Norfolk State University, Harvard University, Nova Southeastern University and is currently studying in the School of Divinity with Regent University. Her work in Education and Leadership has been presented during numerous conferences, workshops, and leadership seminars. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, The Links Incorporated, ACE-The Virginia Women’s Network and Core 4Women Incorporated. Dr. Williams currently serves as the Director of TRiO/Student Support Services at Norfolk State University.

Kara H. North is a native of Orem, Utah, and obtained a B.S. in Business Management from UVU in 2007. She then graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2010 with her Juris Doctorate. She began her legal career with a large insurance defense firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. After returning to Utah, Kara began practicing law in Utah County, with a practice primarily focused on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, criminal defense, and adoption. She has successfully argued for her clients in Juvenile, District, Mental Health Court, and the Utah Court of Appeals. In 2022, Kara partnered with Jill Coil at Moxie Law Group, a boutique personal injury firm in Utah County. Kara currently serves as the UVU Alumni Board President and is a member of the UVU Board of Trustees and UVU Foundation Board. She is the 2023 Women’s Caucus Chair for the Utah Association for Justice, 4th District Chair for Women Lawyers of Utah, and previously served as the President of the Central Utah Bar Association. Kara has also recently been recognized as a 2023 Mountain States Super Lawyer, a Top 25 by the National Women Trial Lawyers Association, and by Utah BusinessQ Magazine as a 40 Under 40.
